These cuties wanted to do something special to celebrate the anniversary of their first date. When Christina suggested a shoot at Book Club Cafe in downtown Rockwall, I was so excited! Such a cute and cozy place to capture genuine, sweet love. Love these two, and these photos! More coffee shops and fall vibes, please!
Christian’s senior session kicked off with his group of friends! They all showed up in their soccer jerseys, then changed into nice outfits (per the moms’ request, of course). I love that they wanted to get some group shots taken before going in different directions for college. Such a fun friend group!
After the friends left, we began exploring Magnolia Street in Ft. Worth. I’d been there a few times (mainly for some ice cream from Melt - because, obvi). Christian and a few of his friends work at a restaurant there so he requested this area! It was so fun to shoot in a new-to-me location.
Earlier this year, I shot Ryan’s senior session in Deep Ellum! His whole family actually tagged along, and we took some family photos beforehand. They’re seriously the sweetest people!
Ryan plays soccer, has a huge heart for Guatamala, and obviously also has major style. He graduated from Rockwall High School, and is currently attending Trinity University in San Antonio. This shoot is still one of my favorites to this day. Thanks, Ryan, for rocking the Deep Ellum vibe, and reminded me just how thankful I am for awesome clients like you guys!
It was such a dream to shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge with these two! Emily is my co-worker/one of my best friends, and I've known her little family for about three years now. She's the whole reason we were able to get tickets for Hamilton and have a fun weekend trip to New York! When I pitched the idea of doing a couple's shoot while we were all there, she was sold! (Let's be honest, who wouldn't want to take dreamy pictures with this view?!) We battled the crowds and the wind, but it was so worth it. Thank you, Jacob and Emily, for helping me check a location off of my "shooting bucket list". Y'all are my favorites!!
When Tylor asked me to capture her wedding, I was so honored. Tylor used to be my coworker, is one of my dearest friends, and has cheered me on since day one of this whole photography thing. She even let me second shoot my first wedding with her. She and Travis were in a long-distance relationship and she moved to be closer to him earlier this year. When they got engaged everyone was over-the-moon excited! Finally, the time came to tie the knot. They chose to have a small, personal ceremony in her grandparents' backyard, and it was absolutely beautiful. I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to be a small part of their special day. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Westfall!
Now, on to allll the gorgeousness.
Thank you again, Tylor and Travis! Much love for you.
