FAQ

  • When will I get my photos? Please allow 2-3 weeks for normal processing. For weddings, allow 4-6 weeks.

 

  • How will I get my photos? Photos will be delivered via Pixieset. You will receive an email with a link to all final photos as well as a four-digit download pin. You can share the link on social media, and use the pin to download high-res images as individuals, or as an entire album. 

 

  • What about rights? I like to keep things simple and fair. Pictures that I take are my work, therefore I use them on my website and social media. However, they also are of you! You can print and post them as much as you like. All that I ask is that you respectfully do not edit the pictures, and that you give proper credit in your posts by tagging my Instagram username or website.

 

  • What is your editing style? I define my style as classic, clean, bright, and contrast-y. When editing a photo, I aim for simple and timeless. To be honest, every shoot is a little bit different due to lighting, skin tones, clothing choice, location, etc. However, I always aim to create a look that is consistent throughout all of my work. 

 

  • What gear do you use? My main camera body is a Canon 5D Mark III, and my two favorite lenses are the Sigma Art 50mm 1.4 and the Canon 24-70 2.8.  

 

  • How do I pay you? I accept cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. Portrait shoots are due in full the day of the shoot. Weddings require a downpayment to secure the date. 

 

  • Do you travel? Yes! I love to travel for shoots. Fees may apply, so contact me ahead of time to see where I'm headed next.

 

  • What about weather? Since I prefer natural light, almost all of my shoots are outdoors. If the weather is predicted to be bad, I will contact you 24 hours before your scheduled shoot and we will decide what is best. Should we have to cancel, no worries! I will be happy to reschedule you as soon as possible.

 

  • What should I wear? Don't stress! I'll be happy to help you pick out an outfit that fits your personality and looks great on camera. 

 

  • Do you offer prints or products? Makenzie's Memories only offers digital copies. You may have them printed or create products wherever you like!
